Most common causes of clogged drains and how to avoid them

How do you know when you require to retain the services of an expert plumber –  Αποφράξεις Καλλιθέας? In common, it is when you notice that one of your drains does not appear to be performing like it ought to. Whilst a clogged drain can be problematic in the kitchen area or laundry place, things can be even even worse in the bathroom offered the nature of the activities that just take place in a typical restroom.

What’s the essential to staying away from clogged lavatory drains? It is to know the frequent leads to clogged lavatory drains and to steer clear of them.

A good drain cleaning service professional is the best to handle every bathroom drain (apofraxeis) problem.

Hair

Hair is a big culprit for drain blockages, as it can bind with grease and other sticky substances to form clogs. The best way to deal with hair blockages is to prevent them from occurring in the first place. Ensure all drains have guards to catch hair and clear these regularly.

Soap

You may wonder how soap can cause a blockage in your pipes. But traditional soap bars are actually made with grease or fat. The fat in the soap combines with minerals in water and leaves a hard residue (known as soap scum) that stains bath fittings and clogs pipes. Switch to soap-free washes and then have your pipes pressure cleaned to remove traces of soap build-up.

Dirt

You may think your drain and pipes are there for washing anything away. But while you want to get excess dirt off you and your clothes, it can build up and cause issues in your drains. Shake or rinse excess dirt and mud off your clothes and body outside before washing them inside.

Food waste

Food waste should never go down the drain, even when you have a garbage disposal in your sink. Instead, set up a composting pile to get rid of food waste. This is particularly important for waste like tea leaves and coffee grounds that don’t break down. Other foods to be cautious of include grease or oil as they will solidify in the pipes and cause a blockage. Instead, absorb oil on a paper towel and throw it in the compost.

Toilet paper build-up

Too much toilet paper can clog your drains and stop your toilets from flushing. If water can still run through your toilet when flushed, you can use a plunger to shift and dissolve some of the toilet paper. But if your toilet just fills without draining, you’ll need to call a plumber to take care of the blockage for you.

Tree roots

The smallest cracks or leaks in your underground pipes can attract tree root growth. Once inside your pipes tree roots quickly grow larger, obstructing water flow and causing pipe damage. Clearing tree roots from pipes can be complex and require rooter service, pressure jet cleaning, trenchless repair, or even excavation. Review the root structure of your trees and plants and monitor the condition of your drains to prevent an extensive and costly repair.

Mineral build-up

Minerals dissolved in hard water can build up and cause insoluble masses that will easily block your drains. One solution is installing a water softener for your home if hard water is a problem in your area. If that’s not an option, you will need to regularly descale and remove sediment and build up. Mineral build-up clogs can be difficult to remove once established, so call your professional plumber if your drains and pipes no longer seem to be flowing.

Small objects

Small objects can find their way into your plumbing supply and wreak havoc. Nothing but water, toilet paper, and human waste should go down your toilet, drain, or sink. Any other object should be disposed of responsibly in the trash, compost, or recycling. If any foreign matter has gotten into your plumbing supply and is causing issues, you’ll likely need professional help to remove it and ensure your plumbing returns to normal.

Stringy Stuff

If you’re like a lot of folks, flossing your enamel, shaving, and brushing your hair are regular pursuits that you do in your restroom each working day. While a lot of folks do these things in their restrooms, they can pose a difficulty for your plumbing if you really do not dispose of your utilized dental floss and free hairs properly and they conclude up in your lavatory drain.

Floss and string are not biodegradable and they, together with hair, can sort clumps and knots in your toilet drains. When this happens, they can clog your wash room drains and trap uncomfortable odors that can be smelled from a substantial distance.

Toys

If you have children, you know that toys have a way of ending up in the most uncommon areas, often which includes the toilet. If a flushed toy ends up creating its way into your principal sewer line, you will have to contend with far more than a dysfunctional, possibly backed up the restroom. You will probably end up getting to pay out for major repairs to your plumbing.

Cat Litter

If you’re a cat owner and you keep your kitty’s litter box in or close to the toilet, you may well be tempted to dump the used litter in your toilet and flush it absent. If that is the situation, resist!

Kitty litter is created to clump when it is exposed to dampness. If you flush utilized litter down your restroom, it can trigger significant blockages and demand you to employ the service of a drain clean services provider to correct your plumbing.

Wipes

There are loads of merchandise out there that claim to be flushable but shouldn’t be flushed down the restroom, like child wipes and cosmetic towelettes. Even though numerous of these merchandises say they’re flushable, the reality is that they will not split down when they’re immersed in water the way rest room paper is made to do.

A professional plumber is sometimes needed to do the job.

Even if these objects make it by way of your drainage method, they can nonetheless result in huge troubles for your municipality’s sewage system if your home is related to it. To avert issues with your drainage technique or your town’s technique, throw utilized infant wipes and cosmetic toilettes in the rubbish.

Feminine Hygiene Products

Whilst the temptation to flush utilized female hygiene products is easy to understand, these items must never ever be flushed down the toilet. Flushing them is a certain-hearth way to clog a bathroom drain and power you to contact for professional guidance with your drainage technique.

Dangers of Sewer System Backups

Sewer system backups are not foreign to many homeowners but they need to be seen as far more serious than a mere annoyance. When your sewer system backs up – ΑΠΟΦΡΑΞΕΙΣ ΠΕΡΙΣΤΕΡΙ , liquid and solid waste both back up into your house, entering pipes that were never meant to hold waste. When this happens, it can release toxins and bacteria into your kitchen sink pipes, bathroom sink pipes, even back up into your washing machine!

If you’re smelling something bad coming from your pipes, you’re actually inhaling the bacteria and toxins that are coming up through your pipes from a sewer system backup. As gross as that is, it also poses a significant health hazard that must be remedied as soon as possible, as you really do not want any sewage caused diseases.

dangers-of-sewer-system-backups

The impact of sewer system backups

Every pipe in your house connects at some point to a large pipe that drains all of your excess water and waste into the city sewer system. The mainline that leads away from your house is the sewer line.

When there is a blockage anywhere from the pipes which lead into the sewer line or in the sewer line itself, you’re going to be dealing with a sewer system backup. This primarily means that when you flush your toilets, the waste has nowhere to go and will back up into other areas of your plumbing.

Sewage can back up into any pipe connected with the main sewer line including your kitchen sink, bathroom sink, and even washing machine connections! Sewer backups are not only harmful to your health but potentially damaging to the rest of your plumbing, you must always prepare for sewer backup emergencies.

Reasons for sewer system backups

There are several reasons for clogged sewers and, unfortunately, many of them need a professional to fix. Clogs are the easiest possible reason to fix. When a clog gets trapped in the pipe, it prohibits water and waste from draining into the connecting sewer pipe. A plumber can find the clog and push it through, opening up your pipe to again drain properly.

A more complicated reason for sewer system backups is due to tree roots forming inside the pipes. When this happens, water and waste flow can be obstructed or cut off completely. Only a plumber is able to adequately fix this issue and repair work should never be attempted without proper equipment and training.

How to prevent sewer issues

Proper maintenance of your plumbing system is the most important thing you can do to prevent clogged drains, pipes, and sewer systems. By having a plumber come and regularly clean your entire pipe system, they’ll be able to prevent tree roots from taking hold inside your pipes.

It is always better to employ steps of prevention than waiting until you’re experiencing drainage issues and need to fix pipes that have roots inside. Once tree roots take ahold of a pipe inside, if left too long, the pipe will need to be replaced altogether.

If you’re experiencing issues due to clogging, there are several steps you can take to ensure your system flows freely. First, be sure you’re only flushing toilet paper down your toilet. Even items listed as flushable shouldn’t be used, as your pipes were not meant to flush anything other than toilet paper. And this is the simple secret to preventing sewer backups.

Sewage backup health risks

Sewage carries toxic viruses and bacteria. Likewise, it can carry toxic substances like pesticides, fungi, and protozoans. There are more than two million sewage-related illnesses each year. Contaminants in sewage water are harmful and even toxic to humans and animals. Therefore, deal with sewer clogs immediately.

Sewer backup symptoms

If you notice water bubbling from other drains, this is a clear sign something is wrong with your sewer line. Are you running the washing machine and hear a gurgling in the kitchen sink? Do you notice water in the basement after you take a shower? Take note of these symptoms and call a licensed plumber to take care of the problem.

Foul smells

Stenches are also a clear sign something is wrong, especially if the smells linger. Odors indicate sewage isn’t draining properly, and could potentially be coming in through your drains, which is a major health hazard.

Slow or still water around drains

Does water take a while to drain after a shower or a bath? Do you notice sitting water around drains? If so, a sewer line clog is a likely cause.

What causes water sewer backups

According to the Civil Engineering Research Foundation, the number of sewage backup incidents is increasing at a rate of about three percent. This is considered an alarming number by experts in this field. While not all basement flood damage is due to sewage backup, there are some main culprits. These include:

Tree roots in sewer line

As they seek moisture and nutrients from organic material, tree roots wiggle into service pipe joints and cracks. These tree roots in the sewer line quickly grow into a major clog and sometimes, destroy the pipe. If you have (or your neighbor has) mature trees or those with invasive root systems, watch out for this problem. Usually, a camera inspection is the first step to verify if tree roots in the sewer line are the source of the problem. The tree’s owner is commonly responsible for the cost of clean up and repair.

Pipeline combinations

Some municipalities combine stormwater and raw sewage pipelines. During heavy rainfall, the volume exceeds the pipe system’s capacity. As a result sewage backup flows into basements and other low-lying drains.

Blockages in the sanitary main

Occasionally, there’s a blockage in the city’s sanitary main. Typically, the symptoms present slowly over time. If you suspect seepage around your basement’s floor drain, for example, request a licensed plumber from – Αποφράξεις Αντωνίου. May to assess the problem and any damage. If, however, sewage water enters your home rapidly, report the problem immediately to your public works office.

dangers-of-sewer-system-backups

Old sewer systems

In a study performed by the American Society of Civil Engineers, (ASCE) they rated the wastewater systems in the U.S. with a D+ and drinking water a D. Why? There are more than 800,000 miles of public sewage pipes in the U.S. and the majority of water mains and pipes were laid in the early to mid-1900s. With a projected lifespan of 75 to 100 years, several are already crumbling.

Sewage backup fix

Sewage camera inspection

First, a licensed technician performs a camera inspection. During a camera inspection, the plumber feeds the line through the main sewer line. The camera captures video of the inside of your sewer line. With a transmitter to pinpoint the location of a blockage, our licensed plumbers confirm the exact location of and reason for the sewage backup. This process eliminates the need for guesswork which saves time and money.

Discuss options

Once our plumbers assess the problem through a camera inspection, they provide you with options for repair and/or replacement. We work with you to select the best option for your home, health, and wallet.

Sewer line replacement

There are two options for replacement: traditional trenching and trenchless repair.

Traditional trenching

Otherwise known as the “open cut” or “trench” method, traditional trenching requires a backhoe or other heavy machinery to open the work area. This allows our technicians to access the damaged portion of the pipe. This may be a large disruption of your yard, but it may be less expensive for you. We make every effort to keep the area as clean as possible while working.

Trench less repair

Also known as a pipe bursting or no-dig excavation, this method causes less damage to your yard than traditional trenching. Instead of opening up the entire area, our technicians open a small access hole where the damaged parts start and end. Then, they use a hydraulic machine to pull a replacement pipe through the old path. This method costs more but causes considerably less damage. They may end up saving you money in the long run.

The best cordless vacuum for 2020

Today’s advanced vacuum cleaners are nothing like the clunky models of decades past. They’re cordless, lightweight, and pack rechargeable batteries for extreme portability and convenience. These machines aren’t simple dustbusters either. They rival traditional upright corded vacuums, both in flexibility and power. Many come with numerous attachments, along with special modes to tackle multiple floor types, including hardwood floors, carpet, bare floors and stairs, and household chores like cleaning furniture and upholstery.

Dyson pioneered this field with its lineup of capable — and pricey — Cyclone V series stick vacs. A host of companies now offer their own cordless vacuums. In some cases these are shameless clones of Dyson products. In others, they’re unique takes on the cordless vacuum, providing novel features all their own.

Are any of these vacuums worth buying over Dyson’s premium models? And if so, which one makes the most sense for you? To find the answer, we selected eight current cordless vacuums. On our buyer’s guide list are stick vacs from well-known vacuum cleaner heavyweights like Hoover, Bissell and Shark. We also included a few options from vacuum newcomers Moosoo and Onson, both popular, low-cost Dyson alternatives sold through Amazon.

We then put them all through a rigorous battery of floor-care tests on hard flooring, carpet and other surfaces. The process took over 150 hours to complete. It also consumed multiple pounds of sand and rice, plus hundreds of handfuls of pet hair. After that, we’ve determined that these products are our picks for the best cordless vacuum for 2020.

Chris Monroe/CNET

The $584 V11 is Dyson’s latest and greatest stick vac. It’s also the most expensive machine in our test group. That said, this flagship model delivered best-in-class performance to match its steep price. On hardwood floor surfaces, the V11 literally wiped the bare floors clean from dust and dirt. The vacuum, which has a lithium-ion rechargeable battery pack, demonstrated near-flawless pickup of both sand and black rice test samples (99.6 and 100%, respectively).

Pet owners will also appreciate the V11’s prowess at eliminating pet hair. During anecdotal tests, the vacuum completely removed hair fibers and dust from mid-pile and low-pile carpet. Pet hair pickup across hardwood flooring went almost as well. The only detractors were a stray clump the vacuum missed at the top of our test area. That and a few strands ended up wrapped around the V11’s brush roll.

I certainly like how easy the V11’s dust bin is to empty. Just aim the vacuum into the trash, and push a release tab to open the dust bin’s lid. To close it, pull the tab in the opposite direction. Other models we tested were a nightmare in this regard. The Hoover BladeMax gave us the most trouble. Hair and dust typically became trapped deep inside its dirt cup. I found its bin tricky to open too. Worse, it isn’t always clear that the dirt bin is securely attached.

Dyson also bundles numerous attachments in the box. Among them are a crevice tool for cleaning tight spaces, a motorized tool for upholstery, a soft dusting brush and a stubborn dirt brush head for pulling ground-in dirt from a carpet. All this makes the Dyson V11 the clear choice for the best cordless vacuum money can buy.

Read more about the Dyson V11.

Chris Monroe/CNET

The second-best performer in our group of cordless vacuums was the $250 Shark Rocket Pet Pro Cordless. It came very close to cleaning floors as well as the Dyson V11, but costs hundreds less. The Rocket removed just as much sand from both midpile carpet and hardwood floors. In fact, the only area where the Shark trailed the V11 as the best cordless vacuum was over low-pile carpet. There, the machine pulled away an overage of 67.6% of our test sand. By contrast, the Dyson V11 removed a greater amount of sand from our low-pile carpeting (78.4% on average).

The Rocket didn’t have trouble handling pet hair either. On both low-pile carpet and hardwood, this handheld cordless vacuum wiped away all traces of animal dander. Results were favorable across midpile carpet, too. Only a small tuft of hair remained after the vacuum passed over the thicker, more challenging surface.

Design is another of the Rocket Pet Pro’s strengths. Its dust cup is almost as easy to empty as the Dyson V11. The dust cup typically remains clear of dirt and debris as well, not stuck inside even after emptying. I also appreciate how the Rocket Pet Pro’s wand and upholstery tool can stand upright on its own (disconnected from the main vacuum unit). LED lights on the nozzle help you see dirt and debris around your home, and a rechargeable lithium-ion battery makes for easy charging. So, if you seek a solid midrange cordless upright stick vac, Shark’s Rocket Pro is an outstanding option.

Chris Monroe/CNET

If you’d like to own a Dyson but would rather not spend top dollar, consider the $450 Dyson V8 Absolute. This step-down model is a few years old, yet still performs like a champ. On our floor-cleaning tests, the V8 came in a respectable third. In our test group, only the Dyson V11 and Shark Rocket Pet Pro scoured floors better than the V8.

On hardwood, the vacuum managed to pickup an average of 98% of the sand we dropped. For low-pile carpet, that average fell to 68.3%. The average slipped further across midpile carpet, though remained at a respectable 52%.

Pet hair didn’t faze the V8 much either. It pulled hair away from midpile and low-pile carpets completely. It did fail to remove a small amount of dander on hardwood. Additionally, some fibers became wrapped around the vacuum’s brush roll. But the washable filter was handy.

And similar to the V11 Torque Drive, the V8 Absolute comes with a generous assortment of add-ons. That includes gadgets for dusting, a crevice tool for reaching into a tight crevice, a soft cleaning head for bare floors, a motorized brush roll for grabbing ground-in dirt and debris, and a docking station for charging the battery. So for those who’d like to own a Dyson brand stick vac a little less cash, the V8 Absolute is worth a look.

Read more about the Dyson V8.

Chris Monroe/CNET

Moosoo isn’t exactly a household name. Nevertheless, the $120 Moosoo M X6 cordless vacuum packs a respectable punch, considering its low price. Despite costing much less than competing vacuums, the M X6 was the fourth-best performer in our test group of eight models.

The stick vac picked up 99% (on average) of our test sand from hardwood. On low-pile carpet, that figure sank to 41.3%. The M X6 fared better across thicker midpile carpet though, earning a higher sand pickup average of 52.2%.

Black rice, our large particle test soil, was a breeze for the Moosoo vacuum. It managed pickup averages above 90% on hardwood, low-pile and midpile carpet (95.4, 96.8 and 94%, respectively).

Don’t buy the Moosoo M X6, though, if you’re a pet owner. Cons are that at least some visible dander remained after vacuuming, no matter the test surface. The brush roll tends to wrap strands of hair around itself as well.

If you want cordless vacuuming on a tight budget, however, consider the Moosoo M X6. It just might fit the bill, and for much less cash.

How we test cordless vacuums

Putting cordless vacuums through their paces isn’t as complicated as testing robot vacuums, but it still takes lots of time and careful effort to find the best cordless vacuum. We run each vacuum in a straight line across three different surfaces (hardwood, low-pile carpet, midpile carpet). On all three test beds, the test area is the same length (30.25 inches).

Our custom-built tool lets us match the soil area to each vacuum’s nozzle width. The amount of soil used for each test also depends on the type of flooring.

Tyler Lizenby/CNET

The width of the test bed is proportional the vacuum’s nozzle width. We measure this width ourselves. We also use nozzle width, plus the flooring type, to calculate the soil density for each test, per International Electrotechnical Commission guidelines. The IEC is an international standards body responsible for managing vacuum testing procedures, among other things, for vacuum manufacturers.

We test vacuums on three types of floor surfaces.

Tyler Lizenby/CNET

We use three types of soil. To simulate small particle size, we use a mix of play sand and landscaping sand. To emulate larger dirt particles, we use uncooked black rice. To see how vacuums deal with pet hair, we use our mixture of clippings sourced to us through our local pet groomer.

img-20191111-153402-collage

We run tests in a straight line across all three floor types.

Brian Bennett/CNET

We perform three runs (at minimum) on each floor type. We also test with sand and rice separately. That comes to at least 18 tests per vacuum. We weigh the vacuum’s dust bin both before and after each run.

New robot developed at Stanford changes shape like a ‘Transformer’

The robotics workforce was motivated by the octopus which can adjust its shape and in good shape into tiny spaces.

Roboy the robotic is fully compliant, tender, and huggable
Pascal Kaufmann introduces us to Roboy, which represents a new generation of robots.

On a latest sunny afternoon, Stanford College engineers pumped up their most current generation, turned on a several tiny motors and watched it move throughout a university inexperienced. The comfortable robot’s skeleton is crafted with flexible material tubes crammed with air. Tiny motors transfer along the tubes to transform the robot’s shape and make it possible for it to transfer.

“The relaxed description of this robot that I give to folks is Baymax from the film Major Hero 6 combined with Transformers,” reported Nathan Usevitch, a graduate student in mechanical engineering at Stanford who works on the job, in a press launch.

The researchers revealed a paper Wednesday in Science Robotics about their creation.

The tube runs through a few smaller equipment that pinch it into a triangle condition. One particular equipment holds the two finishes of the tube alongside one another when the other two drive alongside the tube to improve the shape of the robot by relocating its corners. The scientists contact it an “isoperimetric robot” due to the fact the total duration of the edges and the amount of air inside continues to be the exact same even even though the condition adjustments significantly.

“What is enjoyable to me is that the robotic is truly a collective of particular person robotic rollers, which get the job done together to go the robotic and alter its condition,” mentioned Mac Schwager, assistant professor of aeronautics and astronautics at Stanford, in a press release. “This can help make it an adaptable and strong method.”

SEE: Internet of Issues: Development, dangers, and options (absolutely free PDF)

Unlike several gentle robots that have to be related to an air compressor, this human harmless robot is untethered.

To make a additional sophisticated variation of the robot, the scientists connect a number of triangles alongside one another. By coordinating the movements of the motors, the robotic can decide on up a ball by engulfing it on a few sides or altering its center of mass to roll forward.

This style also enables the machine to surround an object, choose it up, and go it about, a process that is substantially more complicated for robots that use a gripper to do the identical detail.

Scientists believe that the robot is a good applicant for space vacation for the reason that of its overall flexibility and the reality that it can be compressed to a small dimension.

“On another planet, it could use its form-changing ability to traverse intricate environments, squeezing through restricted spaces and spreading above hurdles,” reported Zachary Hammond, a graduate scholar in mechanical engineering at Stanford who works on the robot, in a push release.

The group blended style and design principles from several kinds of robots to generate this new invention: gentle robots, truss robots and collective robots. Meet up with Kate Broug, the entrepreneur, philanthropist and weather alter activist who’s initial trip to Bhutan encouraged her to develop Anna in Bhutan, a line of magnificent and sustainable silk and cotton scarves.

Sandwiched concerning China and India, Bhutan is the only carbon unfavorable country in the entire world, getting far more greenhouse gasses from the atmosphere than it emits (some thing quite a few nations are battling to do). Bhutan is an particularly distinctive country and even charges a $250 day-to-day rate for tourist to assure the ecosystem isn’t spoiled by mass tourism.

Anna in Bhutan scarves are meticulously handwoven in Bhutan by talented woman weavers. Every single scarf is then introduced to Thimphu, Bhutan’s money, where by each individual scarf undergoes a distinctive blessing by higher-rated lamas and monks of the Buddhist religion. It is considered that the blessed scarves will bring its long term operator prosperity, harmony and superior luck.

We checked in with Kate, founder of Anna in Bhutan to chat about her inspiration driving the brand name and why she is so passionate about all that the brand signifies.

At what instant did you come to a decision you wanted to begin the Anna in Bhutan Manufacturer? Were being you bodily in Bhutan?

The strategy of Anna in Bhutan was born the initial time I frequented Bhutan. From the second I arrived, I could come to feel that this was a truly particular country. Bhutan is the only carbon-negative state in the world and a location wherever individuals enjoy cost-free healthcare and education and learning. Bhutan’s Fourth King applied the Gross Countrywide Pleasure Index which steps collective contentment and perfectly-being of its people – the Bhutanese individuals are truly warm and compassionate, and imbued by Buddhist values.

I acquired that weaving is custom that has been passed on for generations, and the expertise of the Bhutanese weavers are remarkable. Their weaving is meticulous, precise and they know coloration. I knew I wanted tocollaborate with these weavers and develop a gorgeous manner accessory that would serve as a token of Bhutan that I could choose home with me. That’s when Anna in Bhutan was born.

What does owning an Anna in Bhutan scarf imply?

Possessing an Anna in Bhutan scarf suggests supporting the values of Bhutan — independence, equality, and sustainability. Each and every scarf is distinctive and handmade by Bhutanese gals who weave in the ease and comfort of their possess households. Soon after the weaving procedure — which can consider up to 4 months — the scarves are introduced to a Buddhist temple in Thimphu (Bhutan’s cash) where they get a singular blessing from 8 revered Buddhist monks and one Lama.

When I see anyone sporting an Anna in Bhutan scarf in the avenue, I see anyone who requires a stand in our present environmental predicament, who supports freedom and equality, and who cares about our globe. I also see a person who has a refined sense of fashion and looks extremely exquisite.

At Anna in Bhutan, we attempt to be more than just a fashion accent line. Anna in Bhutan embraces and supports regional society in Bhutan – we goal to cherish its society, not improve it. Through this line of special scarves, we want to demonstrate how the East can be an case in point to the West.

Why is sustainability essential to you?

At Anna in Bhutan we work with organic materials and dies, and with properly-compensated artisans that weave because they want to, and not since they are forced to.

Can you share a bit additional about your collaboration with One Tree Planted?

One particular Tree Planted is an environmental charity that focuses on reforestation in The us, Asia and Africa. Our collaboration with them is a thing quite dear to me. We want to give back again, safeguard biodiversity, and be energetic in the struggle in opposition to local climate-alter. Bhutan is the only carbon-destructive place in the globe, and 71% of the place is covered by forest. A collaboration concerning A person Tree Planted and Anna in Bhutan felt like a purely natural marriage involving two initiatives.
